DGDC’s Simulation Exercise at The Production Well in Laudat

Dominica is advancing towards renewable energy with a $30 million World Bank loan, building a transmission network from a new geothermal plant to Roseau. This project, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, is part of a larger goal to fully decarbonize the power sector, for which additional funding is sought.

Dominica Geothermal Development Company Ltd (DGDC) has completed flow testing of the RV-P2 geothermal production well. The flow testing is done to determine the well's ability to generate energy. The DGDC would like to thank the Laudat community for cooperating with them during the testing.
